National Youth Conference The Steering Committee for the Tennessee State Youth conference of the Churches of Christ, Inc. announced at its April 2008 conference in Lebanon, Tennessee, that it was launching a campaign to help retire the $118,000.00 debt that the National Youth Conference incurred at its last year’s conference at the University of Massachusetts. The debt was due to the results of a signed contract with the University that a guaranteed number would attend the conference. There was a default in that number, leaving a short fall in revenue owed to the University. The National Youth Conference has served our youth and the church for over 50 years. It is the Steering Committee's desire to assist in this long track record and to continue to give the youth of our brotherhood the opportunity that has been available to so many youth in the past. We ask that you continue to invest in the future of our youth and the National Youth Conference by joining the Steering Committee to help retire this debt. For more information, contact:
The financial support of individual Christians and churches is needed to help in relieving the debt of the National Youth Conference. Time is of the essence. Do what you can – every amount counts. Make your donation to help retire the debt at:
